Wikipedia lists around 40 ongoing wars and conflicts with over 100 combat deaths in 2021 or 2022. It is sad to say, but there are currently ongoing wars or minor conflicts in around three dozen countries, most of them in the Middle East, North West Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
